Ghana beat Korea as Portugal, Brazil progress into last 16

Ghana secured their first victory in Group H following their 3-2 win over Korea

Korea vs Ghana

Salisu and Kudus put the Black Stars ahead in the first half.

Jo Gue-song’s evened the scores with two powerful headers to make it 2-2.

Kudus grabbed the winner in the 68th minute to give Ghana a glimmer of hope of qualifying for the next round.

Portugal vs Uruguay

Bruno Fernandes produced a man-of-the-match performance against Uruguay as he scored a brace in their 2-0 win.

The Man United midfielder was in his element as his cross eluded everyone in the box and headed into the back of the net.

Fernandes scored his second from a spot-kick after Jose Marie Jimenez handled the ball inside the box.

Brazil vs Switzerland

Casimero sent the fans into rapturous celebrations at the 947 Stadium after volleying home the only goal of the game in the 83rd minute.

Brazil are into the last 16 following their opening two wins.

Cameroon vs Serbia

It was a six-goal thriller in the other Group G game between the Indomitable Lions and Serbia.

Cameroon had gone up through Jeans-Charles Castelletto before Strahinja Pavlovic’s header leveled matters.

Milinkovic Savic put the Serbs 2-1 ahead right the stroke of halftime.

Aleksandr Mitrovic was at the end of a well-worked team goal to make it 3-1.

Cameroon had a dramatic comeback as substitute Vincent Aboubakar scored a sumptuous goal to make it 3-2.

Aboubakar also turned provider for Eric Choupo-Moting who finished in style to end the game at 3-3. Cameroon faces Brazil next.
