A Tik Tok video made in Adeleke university, a private institution, showed a female usher seizes member’s phones in church.
According to the lady, she was just playing her role as an usher and wouldn’t want the students being distracted while the sermon was ongoing.
Also, seeing the rate at which youths are glued to their phones, one can only applaud the female usher who went about her duty by seizing the phones for their own good.

The young lady identified as Victoria was shown with a small plastic rubber where she kept the phones she seized with the hope of returning it after their church service.
Victoria wrote: “The will now eye me and be hissing. I sha know say una no fit beat me.”

While some applauded her bravery, some didn’t find it funny at all as they couldn’t understand why an adult’s phone should be taken from them just because they were in church.
