A football manager, who reportedly bet nearly £1 million, was not penalized by the FA.  

This coach, who had a gambling addiction, confessed to this in court while two former footballers faced blackmail allegations.

The Athletic reported that he had eight betting accounts. Most of his bets were on horse racing, but he also broke FA rules by betting on football.

Ivan Toney’s Six-Month Ban 

However, he received only a warning, unlike Brentford striker Ivan Toney, who got an eight-month ban, and Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo, who received a suspended five-month ban for similar betting rule breaches.

The FA stated that the manager made 28 football bets, but only three were after the gambling ban for those in the game was imposed in 2014. They also denied covering up the investigation.

Three Real Madrid players arrested after sharing sex tape of minor

In another news, Three Real Madrid football players have been arrested, as the Spanish news website El Confidencial reported. 

They were taken into custody after the mother made a complaint of an underage teenage girl. The mother alleged that one of the players recorded a sexual video of her daughter and shared it with others.

This incident was reported to the police on September 6th in Mogan, a town in the Canary Islands. Civil Guard officers from Gran Canaria are leading the investigation.
