A Nigerian man, Williams Idoko, has commended a young roadside hawker, Suleiman Ibrahim, for being kind and helpful to him.
Williams Idoko who had labored under the sun and heat to withdraw money from the ATM said the machine stopped dispensing when it got to his turn.
He was very disappointed, considering all the time it took him to finally get to the front of the queue.
Out of frustration, he walked to the bus-stop park to get a vehicle.
At a park where he was to take a bus, he saw a hawker named Suleiman Ibrahim.
Again, everyone needs a Suleiman
Jokingly, he asked Suleiman for 500 naira and a soft drink, promising to refund the money.
To his surprise, Suleiman not only offered him the drink, but he also gave him 500 naira. He gave William his account details and phone number so the money can be transferred when convenient for William.
This went on to prove that we can still be good people wherever we find ourselves, irrespective of religion and ethnicity. We are one big, beautiful Nigerian family!
