Daniel Regha, a controversial Nigerian Twitter influencer, recently took to Twitter to express his concerns about the government’s bias towards supporting only Dangote, the country’s richest billionaire.
Regha criticized the government for allegedly favouring Dangote solely based on his northern background.
Dangote recently completed his massive refinery at Lekki where he invited many dignitaries for the grand opening, which was done by President Muhammadu Buhari.

They left others and only focused on Dangote
In addition, Regha pointed out that the government has been neglecting other emerging businesses from the eastern region, such as the Ibeto Group and Innoson Motors, along with various other prominent companies.
However, his statements were met with disagreement from many who believed that he was intentionally attempting to incite tribal tensions.
His tweet:
If Dangote isn’t a northerner the govt won’t be favoring his company over others; Cos we have seen how the govt neglects Ibeto Group, Innoson Motors, & other big companies owned by easterners. Also, Dangote is the richest man in Africa but the public is yet to see the benefits.
Reactions: stop all these tribal bigots
Let’s have a look at some of the comments:
@yinka: No benefit to Nigeria, but he built a refinery. Right? It is crucial to look beyond tribal sentiments and recognize the immense scale of vision, effort, and achievement involved in such an endeavor. Today, let us set aside any tribal biases and embrace a more inclusive…
