Nigerian musician, David Adeleke known by his stage name, Davido made a heartwarming announcement.
The announcement stated that he donated a generous sum of N237 million to support several orphanages across Nigeria.
The 29-year-old music star shared the details of how the N237 million was disbursed among 424 orphanages across various states in Nigeria.
This act of kindness marks another charitable effort by the singer, following his previous donation of N250 million to 292 Nigerian orphanages, which took place 16 months ago.
Davido’s Fundraiser
Before his birthday in November 2021, Davido playfully asked his music colleagues to give him N1 million each as a gift.
Surprisingly, this turned into a huge fundraiser in Nigeria, and within just 78 hours, Davido managed to collect an astonishing N200 million which he gave all to orphanages in the country
This act of generosity reflects Davido’s dedication to positively impacting the lives of vulnerable children in the country.
