A young Nigerian student identified as Ejikeme Mmesoma made headlines after she was accused by Jamb of forging her UTME result.

Ikejabird reported that the  Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) stated that the young lady who claimed to have an aggregate of 362 actually forged her result.

In a recent report by Punch, it was found out that the officials had not only revoked the young girl’s result but according to cable had also banned her for three years from taking her UTME exams.

Reacting to this, Reno Omokri and many other people have stepped out to share their opinions about this, according to the former presidential aid, it wasn’t the first time JAMB was banning people hence Nigerians should stop blasting g the officials.

He also added that if anyone wants to tackle their instructions or words, they should bring in evidence. In an official statement by the Anambra police represented by the spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu stated that they were not officially informed by JAMB.

Taking to Twitter, a Nigerian, Gaius Chibueze Popularly Known as Bitcoin Chief informed the public that he was going to be sponsoring the young woman’s education.

Daniel Regha, a Twitter influencer also said, “JAMB accused Ejikeme Mmesoma of forging her JAMB result to emerge top scorer, & she said it’s a false accusation. Obviously, both sides can’t be right, but while we await the truth, let’s not use this to promote tribal war. Don’t hastily pick sides based on pity or sentiments.”

Meanwhile, Ejikeme Mmesoma, the Anambra pupil denied the allegations that she tampered with her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result. 

The student, who attends Anglican Girls Secondary School in Nnewi, has been at the centre of a heated discussion surrounding her reported score of 362 in this year’s UTME.

On Sunday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) refuted the claim that Mmesoma was the candidate with the highest score, revealing that she had actually obtained a score of 249 in the exam.
