Ronaldo liked post shaming Messi’s Ballon d’Or

Journalist Tomás Roncero, who shared the video, quipped, “Hello friends, what we knew has happened, they were going to give another Ballon d’Or to Messi.

He went to retire at Miami, but he was already looking like he retired at PSG to prepare for the World Cup, he won the World Cup, yes, well, but with 6 penalties.

The World Cup was 10 months ago, we’re in November. Messi has eight Ballon d’Ors, well, he should’ve had five, he has the Ballon d’Ors of Iniesta/Xavi, Lewandowski, who won 6 trophies in one season, and Haaland, who was the top scorer of everything.”

In response to the post, Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly endorsed the jest by hitting the like button. Moreover, he left a comment that read, “Messi really deserves 5 Ballon d’Or, but the remaining 3 are just ‘gifts.’ But I pay tribute to Messi for his contribution to football, we will not forget your rivalry with Cristiano.”

The comment from Ronaldo displays a level of respect for his long-time rival while playfully acknowledging the ongoing debate surrounding Messi’s Ballon d’Or wins.

Roncero continued his playful tone, stating, “But honestly, I really like the number 8. Reminds me of a night in Lisbon when Bayern Munich scored 8 goals. Once again, congratulations Leo.”
