Court remands Naira Marley, Sam Larry, others over Mohbad’s death

Naira Marley, the head of the Marlian record label, and Lagos socialite Sam Larry, whose real name is Balogun Eletu, have been placed in police custody by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State

The Lagos State Police Command requested that Naira Marley and others be held for 30 days while they investigate a case. 

However, the magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, ruled that they should be remanded for 21 days.

Naira Marley returns to Nigeria 

Naira Marley had announced his return to Nigeria to assist in the investigation of Mohbad’s death. 

He shared this news on his X platform (formerly known as Twitter), stating that he wanted to do his part to uncover the truth and ensure justice is served.

Mohbad: Police takes Naira Marley into custody

in another news, Nigerian singer, Azeez Adeshina, aka Naira Marley has been taken into Lagos State police custody over his alleged involvement in the death of Mohbad.

After the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, many accused Naira Marley and his ally, Sam Larry of being involved.

However, he denied the allegations and expressed his intention to return to Nigeria to aid the investigation if the police can guarantee his safety.
