Computer village risk explosion as massive gas leakages spreads

Massive gas leakages have been reported in Ikeja area of Lagos State as Emergency workers have been deployed to avoid explosions.

The leakage was said to have been caused by faulty pipelines by construction workers at the construction site going on in the area.

The affected areas include Computer Village, Ikeja Under Bridge, Awolowo Way, Oba Akran axis and Anifowose area.

It was learnt that one of the caterpillars burst the pipeline during a demolition exercise taking place in the area.

Meanwhile, the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) has warned residents and traders to stay off the area to avoid explosions in the area.
