Nigerian comedian Okey Bakassi recently talked about a tough situation he faced when starting his entertainment career.
He explained how some people in Nigeria and abroad approached him with offers to get involved in illegal drug activities.
He said that when he first arrived in Lagos as a young man, he was tempted by various shady individuals, including fraudsters and drug dealers. These drug dealers tried to get him involved in their illegal business.

He shared his experience with drug dealers
In the entertainment industry, people are sometimes approached and tempted to participate in drug-related activities.
Bakassi shared that he had similar experiences both in Nigeria and abroad. These drug dealers would try to lure him by giving him gifts and then discussing their illegal business. They would also mention others who were making money from it.
However, Bakassi emphasized that he chose not to get involved in such activities because he wanted to have a clear conscience and be able to sleep well at night. He was not afraid of the police or law enforcement agencies.
