Nigerian comedian AY, also known as Ayodeji Makun, got everyone scared after his Lagos crib caught fire on Sunday.
The news about his Lekki mansion ending in flames quickly blew up online. While AY hasn’t officially spoken up about it, his fans flooded his social media with love and support.
This viral video from a user @Postsubman shows AY’s house completely ablaze – like, the roof was on fire, no joke! AY’s wife and two kids were out of the country when this happened.

AY Makun reacts to the Fire
AY took to social media to calm everyone’s nerves, saying his family is safe and sound. He’s all about family and faith, saying they’re what really matter.
He even mentioned he’s going to jet off to join his family in the US real soon.
People in his circle, including his brother Yomi Casual, shared their support.
AY thanked the big guy upstairs for keeping his family safe and posted pictures and videos of his family enjoying a vacation abroad on Instagram.
He wrote, “Family and God. That is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days.”

Mabel Makun advises men to put mums before wives
In another news, Mabel Makun, the wife of popular comedian, Ayo Makun and CEO of Midas interior has advised that men should always put their mothers first before their wives.
She made this statement in response to a tweet by @me_lanin_pie.
The tweet read, “Imagine marrying a man who thinks his mum comes before you. Lmaooooo0”.
