Cameroon bow out in style as Korea, Switzerland scale through to last 16

Cameroon became the first African country to beat Brazil at the World Cup as the stunned the favourites by 1-0.

Vincent Aboubakar’s solitary goal in the 92nd minute won the game for.the Indomitable Lions.

However, the win was not enough to take the Indomitable Lions through into the next round as the result of the other game left them in third position.

Switzerland vs Serbia

The Swiss national.side booked the second slot in Group G as they defeated Serbia by 3-2.

Xherdan Shaqiri opened the scoring as Alesandr Mitrovic leveled the scores.

Juventus strike Dusan Vlahovic made it 2-1 for the Serbs before Breel Embolo equalized a minute before half time.

Remo Fedler got the winner three minutes into the second half as Switzerland qualified into the round of 16.

Portugal vs Korea

Korea ran away with a 2-1 win as they made it past the group stages since the 2002 edition.

Ricardo Horta put Portugal ahead as early as the fifth minute but Kim Young-gwon equalized in the 27th minute.

In time added on, Hwang Hee-chan scrambled a goal in to seal the win for Korea.
