In a thrilling competition, Bukayo Saka, the talented Arsenal winger, has won the 2023 Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Saka faced tough competition from Erling Haaland, the Premier League top scorer last season, and Moises Caicedo, the former Brighton and current Chelsea midfielder.
However, Saka claimed the prestigious accolade, solidifying his status as one of the brightest young talents in English football.

It’s an honour for me to accept this award
The award ceremony took place at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester on Tuesday, where Saka personally received the trophy.
Expressing his gratitude on social media, Saka wrote,
“PFA Young Player. It’s an honor for me to accept this award and have my name alongside the previous winners. To have your peers acknowledge you is a very special feeling! Thank you to the PFA and congratulations to all the other winners and nominees this evening.”

Saka’s exceptional performance throughout the season played an important role in Arsenal’s impressive Premier League campaign, which saw them achieve their best finish in over two decades.
With 14 goals and eight assists to his name, Saka showcased his versatility and skill on the field.
Arsenal led the title race for a significant portion of the season, only to be overtaken by Manchester City in May.
Saka is still playing on Sunday

Bukayo Saka hits the street of Lagos for charity works
Meanwhile, award-winning Arsenal star, Bukayo Saka visited his country, Nigeria after many years of being away in England.
The Nigerian-born Arsenal hero was spotted in Bariga, Lagos where he was having a stroll with his security men.
Bukayo Saka is said to have visited Nigeria for charity work which is the first ever of its kind in his home country, Nigeria.
