There is currently a fire at the Supreme Court in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). We don’t know why it started yet, but firefighters are coming.
The offices of three judges have been damaged, and people inside the building had to quickly leave to stay safe.
This is not the first time a fire has happened at government offices in Abuja. In May 2023, there was a fire at the Nigerian Air Force Base on Airport Road.
In February 2022, a fire happened at the Ministry of Finance building. In May 2020, a fire damaged part of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) building.
And just a month before that, a fire affected the office of the accountant-general of the Federation (AGF).
