The Court has confirmed Comrade Lamidi Apapa as the rightful Chairman of the Labour Party.
The same Court also recognised the Lamidi Apapa group’s candidates for Governorship in Imo, Kogi, and Bayelsa as legitimate candidates.
There’s trouble for Peter Obi’s team, as the Court of Appeal has confirmed Lamidi Apapa as the real Chairman of the Labour Party.
Because of this new decision, any candidates the Julius Abure faction chose will be considered unlawful.
Just remember that Peter Obi, who is the Presidential candidate of the party, introduced Athan Achonu as the Governorship candidate for Imo state.
However, since Lamidi Apapa has been declared the official Chairman of the party, Ikechukwu Ukaegbu will be recognized as the legitimate candidate for the party in Imo state.
