Breaking: Alan Fisher breaks Hilda Baci’s record for longest cooking hours

In a surprising turn of culinary events, Alan Fisher, an Irish restaurant owner, has emerged as the new reigning champion, dethroning the former record holder, Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, in the realm of cooking marathons.

 Fisher’s remarkable culinary feat saw him breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, achieving an astounding time of 119 hours and 57 minutes. 

This remarkable accomplishment surpassed the previous record, which was set by Hilda Baci, by more than 24 hours.

Guinness confirms Alan Fisher 

Alan Fisher, not only an accomplished chef but also the owner of a restaurant in Japan, didn’t stop at just one record-breaking achievement.

 He also claimed the title for the longest baking marathon by an individual, displaying remarkable stamina and skill in the kitchen, with a time of 47 hours and 21 minutes. 

This triumph surpassed the previous record held by Wendy Sandner from the USA, who had clocked 31 hours and 16 minutes.

Guinness World Records (GWR) officially recognized these incredible achievements and made the announcement via their official account. 

In a statement, GWR declared, “Nigerian cooking queen Hilda Baci has been dethroned.” They went on to highlight Alan Fisher’s extraordinary feat, stating, “Alan Fisher from Ireland cooked for an incredible 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.”
