Boreholes and Buckets: Ikeja’s Water Reality

In Ikeja, water scarcity has become a daily struggle with 80% of residents lacking access to pipe-borne water. Some home owners have resulted to digging boreholes, often illegally, risking saltwater contamination and diseases, or paying as much as 2000 naira daily to water vendors.
