Bolanle Raheem was shot by a Policeman on her way from the church on Sunday. The identity of the policeman has now been confirmed as ASP Vandi.
The Lagos Police Force has also issued a statement via its PPRO, Benjamin Hundeyin after the report went viral.
In the press release, Hundeyin strongly stated that justice will be administered.
Celebrities and notable politicians have expressed sadness over the death of Bolanle, adding that Police brutality must end.

#House of Representatives to Investigate Officer
House of Representatives has passed a resolution on Wednesday to investigate the lawyer’s death.
In the statement, the house also resolved to prosecute the officer in order to arrive at justifiable action against him.
