Is Putin behind this?
He stated, “There’s not much that happens in Russia that Putin’s not behind.” These words suggest that Biden might believe Russian President Vladimir Putin might have played a role or possessed knowledge concerning Prigozhin’s fatal plane crash.
Although the details of the crash remain unclear, some analysts have speculated that the timing of the crash might hold political significance.
Ukrainian presidential aide Mykhaylo Podolyak suggested that the crash could be seen as a “signal from Putin to Russia’s elites ahead of the 2024 elections.”
When questioned about the incident, Biden emphasized that he does not possess all the facts but expressed a lack of surprise at the developments.
