BBNaija Level Up winner, Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, is ecstatic as she bags a new award.
The reality TV star celebrated her new win as the ‘Celebrity Of The Year’ at the recently concluded La Mode Green October event.
This is even as Phyna’s father has called her out for cutting off her family since she won the BBNaija Grand prize of N90m.

Celebrating the good news, Phyna took to her Instagram page to share how one cannot truly understand their strength unless it becomes their last option.
“You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice,” she wrote. “NAT- Celebrity of the Year.”
She also took to her X account to thank her fans, her management, and the award’s organizers for the distinction.

The award comes just a few days after Phyna’s father called her out for abandoning them after winning the BBNaija Grand Prize.
Mr Otabor, in an interview with Vanguard, lamented that he hasn’t laid eyes on his daughter since her triumph in the BBNaija ‘Level Up’ edition last year. He expressed bewilderment, stating that she hasn’t graced their home since, and ignoring their calls, leaving him in the dark about the reasons behind her stance.

Phyna has also reacted to these claims, saying she was heartbroken by the news and would go live on her Instagram page to address it.
In a follow-up post, she also lashed out at Vanguard for calling and sending her text messages incessantly, seemingly in an attempt to get her side of the story.
She also threatened to sue the news outlet for publishing the report, alleging that her father was in distress.
