Chelsea reached their first EFL Cup final in three years with a 1-0 win over luckless Tottenham Hotspur, as a professional and composed second-leg showing saw the Blues advance 3-0 on aggregate thanks to Antonio Rüdiger’s early strike.
It was Madrid’s 100th win in El Clásico across all competitions.
Madrid have now won five consecutive games against Barcelona for the first time since they won seven straight from April 1962 and February 1965.
