The president-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has congratulated footballer Victor Osimhen on his recent victory in the Italian Serie A.
Tinubu, who is often referred to as “Jagaban,” commended Osimhen for making Nigeria proud and continuing the legacy of other Nigerian footballers who have made a global impact.
In describing Osimhen’s talent, Tinubu used the Yoruba street slang “Idan gangan,” which means someone who performs wonders.

After reading his tweet, many Nigerians hailed the President for being a relatable leader who connects with the younger generation despite his age. They referred to him as a “cruising president.”
One of his supporters, with the username @Obajemu, responded to his tweet by expressing her belief that Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s eight years in office would also be a smooth ride.
As his concluding remark, Baba Tinubu wished Victor Osimhen and other Nigerians who take pride in his accomplishments success in their respective careers.

Meanwhile, President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially appreciated his Nollywood supporters by honouring them with an appointment in his forthcoming inauguration ceremony.
The incoming president selected Yoruba movie stars to be members of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Inauguration Entertainment Committee.
The committee is said to be chaired by Eniola Badmus, a popular Yoruba actress who previously endorsed Tinubu during the general election.
