The comparison between sensational Afrobeat artiste, Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake and fast-rising Nigerian singer and songwriter Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi aka Seyi Vibez has been revisited following the former’s release of a video of his song “Yoga.”
Asake started the new year with a banger aiming to replicate his last year’s success with the release of Yoga on Monday, January 30. The video is currently trending across streaming platforms.
Coincidentally, Seyi Vibez, whose album, Billion Dollar Baby, dominated the latter part of 2022 dropped the snippet of his yet-to-be-released video the same day.
The coincidence has since revived the comparison between the duo, with fans submitting that 2023 is going to be a show of talent between the two artistes.

EDtheSongwriter wrote: “With what Seyi Vibez and Asake are doing in the industry, I think people well versed in Iyere Ifa could be mainstream too. Just find a creative producer who could create an irresistibly danceable beat & before you know it we are all singing Ifa incantation.”
Oluwaseun wrote: “Will choose @seyi_vibez over asake any day, any time, and anywhere but that doesn’t mean that he’s better than him in others’ opinions cause we’re all entitled to our opinion.”
