The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has established a committee aimed at reconciling the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, and his deputy, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The committee was formed in response to the strained relationship between the governor and his deputy following Akeredolu’s return from a three-month medical leave in Germany.
Reports suggest that the Ondo State House of Assembly has initiated an impeachment process against the deputy governor, alleging abuse of office and financial recklessness. However, Aiyedatiwa has contested these accusations.
