Much loved Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema has caused massive traffic in India for his tour.
Recall that Rema took to his Instagram page sometime in April 2023 to announce that he was going on a 3 days tour in India from May 12 to 14th of May.
Well, yesterday was the first day of his tour in the country, and the video making rounds on social media captured how the singer shut down India.

Rema who is the first Nigerian singer to ever have a tour in an Asia country was said to have caused huge traffic in the city of New Delhi, India because of his sold-out show.
“From Benin see wetin Rema cause for India, all the way from Benin, see wetin that small boy cause for India,” a voice in the background voice said.
A subsequent video also captured how Rema received so much love from Indians while he was performing his song ‘calm down’ as most danced and vibed to his music.

In other news, Rema made history by earning a spot in the Guinness Book of Record with his hit single “Calm Down.”
The song has recently topped the Official MENA Chart, becoming the first No.1 hit on the world’s first regional streaming chart.
The achievement marks a significant milestone for @heisrema, who has quickly become a rising star in the music industry.
