The former BBNaija winner Mercy Eke has received scathing trolls on social media over age falsification.
The 2019 BBN winner was discovered to have lied about her real age after she made a tweet encouraging Nigerians to collect their Permanent Voters Card.
In a tweet, Mercy disclosed that she had collected her PVC. Thereafter, she advised people to go and get theirs too.
Mercy uploaded her PVC alongside the tweet but covered her actual age.
How Mercy’s Real Age Was Discovered
Even though Mercy’s real age was covered, a social media user who simply identified himself as Olatunde saw a trail and immediately took the chance to find out.
Olatunde saw that, in Mercy’s uploaded PVC, the VIN number that gives basic information about the PVC owner was visible.
“You covered your date of birth and left a VIN that shows everything about you. Does this make sense to you? Anyway, I am here to inform you that I just found out that you are 32 years of age. Don’t come here 29th September and claim 25 years o. Have a nice day,” Olatunde wrote.
It was also discovered that the celebrity had told her fans that she turned 29 last year.
