Nollywood actress Wunmi Toriola has recently opened up about her changed perspective on marriage following the dissolution of her first marriage.
During a candid conversation on the ‘Exciting Moment With Debbie’ show alongside actress Debbie Shokoya, Toriola shared her interesting views.
She admitted, “In the past, I firmly believed that being a second or third wife wasn’t something I could consider. However, having experienced marriage and becoming a mother, my mindset has shifted. If I encounter a man who has a child like me or is a widower, I am open to being his wife. My priority now is my happiness.”

Toriola reflected on her initial beliefs, saying, “When I first got married, the thought of being a second or third wife never crossed my mind. I entered into marriage with the intention of building a life together, but as issues arose, my ex-husband would often remark, ‘You’re the one with all the attention.'”
Despite harboring hopes of reconciling with her estranged husband earlier on, Toriola acknowledged the eventual breakdown of their relationship.
“There was a time when I believed we could resolve our differences. However, conflicts arose, and eventually, the marriage couldn’t be sustained,” she explained.
Following the end of her marriage, Toriola redirected her focus and dedication toward her acting career, channeling her energy into her professional endeavors.
