Mary Njoku, a Nollywood actress, has shared her thoughts on the Hakimi divorce scandal, where the Moroccan footballer allegedly transferred all his assets to his mother’s name.
According to the actress, mothers, especially African mothers, are unlikely to completely stop caring for their teenage sons, even if they get married.
Njoku also commented that many of the contracts signed by Hakimi were done when he was underage, making it understandable that his assets were in his mother’s name. She stated that it might not be a deliberate attempt to defraud Abouk, and there may have been a legal or cultural reasons behind it.

How do you marry a teenager?
The Nollywood star also expressed the opinion that Hiba Abouk should focus on making more money for herself instead of trying to recover her ex-husband’s assets. She believes that going after his wealth is not the best solution to her problems.
According to Njoku, it is unreasonable to expect a teenager, particularly an African teenager, to be independent of their parents.
She believes that this is a cultural norm in Africa, and parents are expected to continue to support their children, even after they have left home.

Ashraf Hakimi Mouh, a professional footballer who plays for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Morocco national team, has shocked the masses with his uncommon display of wisdom.
The Spanish actress Hiba Abouk was married to Ashraf Hakimi until 2023, when she confirmed on her Instagram page that she and her husband separated and were waiting for divorce proceedings.
Fortunately, the court finally judged that the two supposed couples could now go their separate ways as they were legally divorced.
