A Nigerian man and his friends took some time out to spend time with the inmates of Ogoja prison in Igoli.
The man named Tom Alims spearheaded the event and was accompanied by his friends after mobilizing donations on Facebook.
In an interview with THE TALK.NG, Tom stated that he used the resources from Facebook donations to purchase the items used for the visit.
They offered the inmates delicious foods such as moimoi, boiled eggs, fried plantain and fish.
They also went with cartons of soft drinks and detergent for their laundry.
The time spent there was fun filled, as they played the flip bottle game with them and that brought a lot of color to the visit.
May God bless you all
In his words, “For the first time after a very long time, the inmates were super excited mostly when we were playing the bottle flip game. In their appreciation message, they stated clearly that our visit is one they’ll remember for a long time because they have never had such a visit and experience in the past.”
According to Tom Allis, the visit was to put smiles on their faces and give them food and other helpful things.
