A source who spoke with SaharaReporters revealed that INEC has canceled the election in the area.

The election here has been canceled,” a source who spoke to SaharaReporters said. “The protest has made the INEC officials call off their staff in all polling units in Ogori/Magongo local government.”

The residents who stormed at Magongo RAC centre expressed their displeased that officials of the INEC in collaboration with the officials of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had already written the results of the various polling units in the local government even before the election had started despite all the promised of a free and fair election.

Some pre-written results of some polling units showed APC leading, while PDP and SDP had none or two votes.
