Born on March 23, 1974, in Umuakuru, Emekuku, Owerri, Tony Ejiogu stands as a testament to family values and community roots.

The first son of Sir and Lady Ambrose Ejiogu, Tony embraces a humble Christian lifestyle deeply rooted in respect for his culture and traditions. 

A devoted family man, he takes pride in his marriage and four beautiful children, embodying the essence of familial commitment.

Educational background

Tony’s educational journey began at Imo State University Primary School in Aba, leading him to the prestigious St. Peter Claver Seminary in Ngor Okpala. His distinctive personality traits marked him as the Senior Prefect at the Seminary, showcasing early signs of his leadership prowess. 

This trajectory paved the way for further studies in the United States, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from the University of Akron in Ohio.

Undeterred by academic success, Tony continued his quest for knowledge, earning a Master’s degree in Administration from Bowie University and pursuing an MBA in Finance at the University of Maryland. 

Each degree became a milestone in his journey of self-discovery, unlocking new realms of possibilities and laying the foundation for a promising future.

Professional Journey

Tony embarked on his professional journey as an Investigative Business Consultant at Dun & Bradstreet, where he played a pivotal role in gathering credit information on businesses. 

His expertise was widely utilized for government transactions and business assessments. In 2001, he started his career in Baltimore, MD, USA, marking the initial steps of a remarkable professional voyage.

His commitment to public service was further demonstrated through a political appointment as a Senior Special Advisor (SSA) to Imo State Governor Ikedi Ohakim. In this role, Tony spearheaded policy formulation and public service enhancement, contributing to the administrative excellence of the state.
