Nigerian musician Orezi, whose real name is Esegine Orezi Allen, recently claimed that Afrobeats music isn’t good without him.
He made this statement during an interview with Gehn Gehn TV. Orezi, who hasn’t released new music for a while, said he’s different from other artists and doesn’t follow their rules. He’s confident that he will soon make a strong comeback in the Nigerian music scene and promised that his next single will be a hit.
He said, “Afrobeats without me isn’t worth listening to. I’ll carry Afrobeats to the next level and dominate. I’m different from other artists; I don’t follow the rules. Rules are for regular artists. I am Orezi.”

Burna Boy reveals his Music inspiration
Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy revealed that the late Indian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was a significant source of inspiration for him when he felt creatively drained.
During an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, Burna Boy mentioned that he was working on a collaborative project with Moose Wala before the rapper was tragically killed in May 2022.
Burna Boy explained that he sought something new to inspire him when he discovered Moose Wala’s music through his fans.

He was drawn to the rapper’s unique sound and how it pushed the boundaries of music. Moose Wala’s music motivated Burna Boy to experiment with his own sound and revitalize his creativity.
Burna Boy spoke highly of Moose Wala, calling him a legend and stating that he brought a fresh perspective to his own music at a time when he felt he had already explored all musical avenues.
