Former Big Brother Naija ‘All-Stars’ housemate, Mercy Eke, has said the relationship with her colleague, Whitemoney, during the just concluded reality TV show was a game and nothing more.
Mercy made this known in a recent interview with media personality and host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Africa Magic.
This is contrary to the two stars’ previous speculations and moments of closeness in the house that sparked rumors of a romantic connection.

The revelation came after Cross, another housemate, suggested that Mercy Eke’s boyfriend was feeling threatened due to her close bonds with both Whitemoney and Pere.
Addressing this issue during a conversation with Cross, Mercy Eke defended her relationship with Whitemoney. She insisted that he had consistently supported her, even during her interactions with other male contestants such as Pere and Kiddwaya.
However, Mercy Eke’s stance took a U-turn during her interview with Ebuka. According to her, she and Whitemoney planned their alliance as they both knew that they were threats to the other housemates.
She declared that there had never been any romantic involvement between her and Whitemoney and added that she had not led him on in any way.
Mercy, however, said she was unsure if the singer started developing feelings for her during their alliance in the House.
She said, “Me and Whitemoney’s relationship was just an alliance. In the first week, he already told me that we would be a target in the House so we should stick by each other. He said it was only he and I that were different in the House.

“But I was still myself. I was still trying to have fun. But I don’t know if he started developing feelings inside. It wasn’t anything. It was just an alliance. No feelings there at all. It was just a game.”
This clarification came as a surprise to many fans of the reality show.
