Nigerian gospel singer, Busola Oke, has accused veteran music marketer and promoter Gbenga Adewusi, aka Bayowa Films, of seizing her music earnings.
She said the reason he did this was because she refused to engage in a romantic relationship with him.
Oke made this revelation during a live session on TikTok while reacting to the tragic demise of 27-year-old singer, Mohbad. The late singer was also allegedly harassed and bullied by individuals associated with his former record label, Marlian Music.

He was angry because I didn’t sleep with him
Speaking about her own experience, Busola accused her former management, Bayowa Music, of withholding her money and leaving her in financial hardship because she rejected his advances.
She stated that she was forced to sell her assets and endure financial losses from which she has yet to recover after the incident with Bayowa, who, she believes, will face the consequences of his actions.
According to her, she could have achieved substantial wealth and recognition if not for Bayowa’s greed.
The ‘Eleyele’ crooner who spoke in Yoruba said,
“Bayowa has my earnings; he is enjoying life with it. He is using my sweat to enjoy life. He is profiting from my hard work. Only God will judge you, Bayowa. You’re wicked and heartless. The only thing I didn’t lose is that we didn’t have a physical relationship or sleep together. I refused to allow you to take advantage of my body the way you exploited my intellectual property. I’m glad I’m not like that.”
