There should have being adequate palliatives

Prof. Osodeke emphasized that the protest aimed to denounce the federal government’s anti-people policies over the past two months, including the removal of petrol subsidy, which has negatively impacted the economy.

He stressed that the government should have provided adequate palliatives to cushion the effects of these policies on the economy.

In response, Caleb Ajagba, Chief of Staff to the Abia State governor, welcomed the protesters at the Government House entrance and commended them for their peaceful conduct.

He assured them that the government would promptly forward their concerns to the appropriate authorities for consideration.
