May Edochie, the first wife of popular actor Yul Edochie, has officially filed for divorce on the grounds of adultery and is asking for 100 million Naira .
The news broke after a viral Facebook post by the Divorce blog, DPA Family Law Clinic, revealing the details behind May’s decision to end her marriage and the legal implications surrounding it.
The Facebook post highlighted that May filed for divorce due to her belief that Yul’s marriage to Judy is null and void.

Did Yul commit bigamy?
According to the post, Yul married Judy under the 1970 Marriage Act, which prohibits having more than one wife simultaneously, unlike the Customary Marriage Act.
The divorce filing reportedly took some time to materialize, and it was recently disclosed that Yul attempted to enter their former matrimonial home shared with May but was denied access.
May is being represented in court by Femi Falana’s law firm and Eculaw. In her lawsuit, she expressed concerns about Yul’s behavior, stating that he appeared to be under some sort of influence, displaying unusual aggression, erratic behavior, and making threatening remarks.
Additionally, May plans to file a separate charge against Judy, accusing her of committing adultery with Yul. In this regard, she has demanded N100 million in damages.

Meanwhile, oopular Nigerian actress, Judy Austin and second wife of Yul Edochie has caused a stir on social media after she made a post mourning the death of her stepson, Kambilichukwu.
Netizens were not happy with her post and they did not hesitate to share their feelings with her. Many felt it was wrong for her to post after several weeks of the death of the 16-years-old boy.
Her post came shortly after their husband Yul Edochie broke the silence on social media over the loss of his first son.
