A Nigerian lady has advised many ladies that for a marriage to work, one of the couples has to act foolish.

The young woman asserted this when a Facebook user asked on a group why marriages of uneducated couples last longer than that of educated ones.

Many social media users responded as some stated that the educated couple act like they know it all eventually leading to an argument that causes divorce.

Responding to the question, the woman identified as Valedictorian Abasi-Ibianake shared her own opinion.

According to her, being educated or not has nothing to do with a lasting relationship, however, for a relationship to work one of the couples must act stupid.

She made it clear that if two people claim to be the smart one then there’s a high possibility of such a relationship crashing, however, if one decides to submit and act like a fool for the other, such marriages last long.

She said her words are hard pills to swallow for many ladies nowadays who have found it hard to submit to their man like their mothers did for their fathers.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man listed reasons why it was important for a couple to live together before tieing the knot as one leaving many talking.

In a series of Tweets on the microblogging platform, the man with the username @jon_d_doe stressed why it was important for a couple to cohabit before marriage.

Listing out some of the unpleasant or terrible habits one can have, the man shared that a couple can only know they have one or more of the listed habits if they cohabit.
