Nigerian singer; Goya Bright, who is popularly known as Goya Menor has been given a proclamatory honour by the United States Government.
The musician anounced the receipt of this award on Wednesday, 16th March 2023, and called it his biggest win so far.
Goya Menor started his music career in 2011 and became popular after he released Ameno Amapiano (remix) with that Ghanian producer Nektunez.

Amapiano Remix was the most Shazamed song in 2021. It also acquired over 10 billion views on TikTok and 60 million streams on Spotify, entering the top 100 billboard chart as number one.

Meanwhile,Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known as D’banj was detained by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
This was for allegedly diverting public funds under N-Power, an empowerment program established by the federal government in 2016.
The ‘Fall in Love’ crooner was arrested yesterday, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 after a series of summons to the ICPC headquarters in Abuja.
