In what came as a surprise to Nigerians on social media, Nigerian actor and comedian Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth announced separation from his wife Elsie Okpocha.
In a post on Thursday, December 22, the comedian said the 12-year-old union has crashed, though they will work together to give their “beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.”
Basketmouth’s marriage crash was not the first celebrity marriage to hit the rock in 2022. Recently, Paul Okoye of PSquare’s marriage to his wife Anita was dissolved by the court in a dramatic turn of what appeared to be a heavenly-made union.
