Super Eagles stars paint Europe’s top 5 leagues white and green with respective performances

Super Eagles stars were in action for their respective teams in Europe during the past weekend.

The biggest performer of the weekend was Victor Osimhen who helped Napoli pip Roma 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Nigerian international picked pocketed his marker and volleyed home the only goal in the 80th minute to help his side maintain top spot in Serie A.

Alex Iwobi continued best ever form in a Premier League season during Everton’s 3-0 over Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.

The former Arsenal star assisted Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Dwight McNeil in scoring their respective goals.

Super Eagles Oyinbo Wall were left out as Leon Balogun netted the winner for QPR’s 2-1 over Wigan Athletic at Loftus Road.

William Troost-Ekong also scored the second as Watford thrashed Luton Town by 4-0 in the Championships.

Nantes surrendered a 1-0 lead away at Nice after taking the lead early in the first half.

Moses Simon helped his teammate Ignatius Ganago score in the opening ten minutes before Arsenal’s loanee Nicolas Pepe equalized in the 97th minute to earn his side a point.

Meanwhile, Innocent Bonke provided an assist for Stephen Diarra as high flying Ligue 1 side Lorient were held by 2-2 at Troyes.
