Al Hilal is a decade long rival of Al Nassr, the Saudi club that just signed Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Sportbible, Al Hilal is interested in the PSG striker and would be willing to pay a whopping £400 million to bring him to the country.
Recall that Al Nassr signed Ronaldo for a record breaking deal of £200 million.
The 37-year-old is yet to play his first match but it has been reported that his first match will be a friendly against PSG on January 19.
If the match eventually holds, the football world will be seeing another Messi vs Ronaldo rivalry in action.
Reports have also indicated that Al Hilal is pushing to drop double of what their rival paid for Ronaldo in order to force a move.
Messi’s contract has ended with PSG and the French club is pushing for a renewal as many clubs are ready to take the 35-year-old who recently lifted the World cup in 2022.
