A 102-year-old woman has announced her intention to run for President of Nigeria in 2023.
Mrs. Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche has stated that if elected President, she has good plans for Nigeria.
Ezeanyaeche is the founder of the “Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria” group and is known as a “living legend” or “Mama Africa” from Aguata, Anambra State.
She expressed her willingness to run for the position during a recent visit to the management team of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, if the country’s younger generation is not ready.
She joins a long list of people who have expressed an interest in running for the prestigious position.
