Nigerian star chef, Hilda Baci has shared why there’s been a delay in her certification by the Guiness World Record.

Hilda, who has become one of the most popular people in Nigeria made the video as a response to the uproar online due to her delay in certification.

She shared a video on Instagram showing her team uploading video footage from the 100 hours cook-a-thon.

The young cook explained further that they are yet to send all the evidence footage for Guinness World Records’ required for approval.

She thanked everyone for their immense support and kind words, saying that they’ve made her cry multiple times.

She went on to confirm that her team was working round the clock to ensure that the 100 hours file which was extremely large and they are trying to upload it in a good time of 4 days.

Hilda explains certification delays

She wrote in the video:

“2 days in uploading evidence footage for Guinness world record approval. 100 hours file is extremely large. We are trying to do this in record time.”

“We are honestly working round the clock trying to upload evidence on the Guinness portal. I also want to thank everyone for their love and support. I have cried so much cause it’s honestly overwhelming.”

Kaffy shares personal experience, says Hilda Baci’s confirmation with Guinness World Records may take 2 weeks

Meanwhile, Nigerian sensational dancer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, has shared her story while celebrating Hilda Baci’s feat.

Kaffy, who happens to also be a Guinness World Record breaker revealed that she had to wait for about two weeks for GWR and its processes.

The international choreographer in her post on Instagram also added that some people got disqualified after the whole process.
