The  Senate was charged with unusual energy as Senator Darlington Nwokocha, representing Abia Central Senatorial District, boldly presented a motion.

 This motion aimed to halt the ministerial screening of the esteemed Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Festus Keyamo.

Interestingly, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe from Abia-South Senatorial District promptly supported Nwokocha’s motion, adding an unexpected layer of intrigue to the proceedings.

Once the motion reached the hands of Senate President Godswill Akpabio,  the motion was put to a vote. 

The outcome was anything but predictable, with the lawmakers expressing varying opinions and causing a visible divide within the assembly.

The red chamber’s atmosphere transformed into chaos and excitement simultaneously.

 Amidst the chaos between the lawmakers, the Senate Majority Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, intervened with an intriguing suggestion: a closed-door session.

In another news,Bosun Tijani, the Co-founder and CEO of Co-Creation Hub, Nigeria’s largest tech hub, was recently announced as part of the second batch of President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial list.

However, Social media users have uncovered an old tweet from Bosun Tijani, a Nigerian-British entrepreneur and ministerial nominee, attacking the President. 

In the tweet, he criticized President Bola Tinubu for promoting what he called a “rubbish narrative” and advised him to focus on his businesses.
