A Nigerian woman shared the story of an agbero she got especially fond of, who clinched a big win in gambling.
This story was told on twitter by the user @Phinesmiles and has received mixed reactions.
According to the twitter user, there was a certain agbero who often hailed her for money and each time she saw him, she gave him some money.

She stated that she usually gave him lower Naira denominations, so on some occasions where she did not have them, she told him she would give him money some other day.
One day, while driving past, she had a flat tyre. It was at this crucial point she saw the said agbero again.
He got a vulcaniser to attend to the car and bore the cost for the vulcanizers services, without divulging how much he paid.
Knowing his financial struggles, she tried giving him some money or the vulcanizers services, so he can replace what he spent, but he refused to collect her money.
At this point, he started hailing her in his usual manner and revealed was so glad to be of help to her, after all the kindness she had shown him.
Agbero don leave street life for una
While still speaking, he told her he just won 3 million Naira through gambling and assured her that the win had brought him to the end of his “street” life.
He had plans to buy a keke or bus to start hustling so he can meet his own needs and have a business to himself.
This news made her very happy, and to encourage him, she referred him to a driving school so he could obtain a drivers license.
